JLPT 2011
Got myself a copy of the JLPT application form yesterday while in school. I’ll be taking the N5 exam this December. My first real test towards full literacy starts here.

Marble just got neutered
We just had our pet cat Marble neutered. She is now a proud owner of a fat belly scar- just like me. Nice to see her get stronger as the days go by, she could barely stand up straight a few days ago.

Done with Elementary 1
Yesterday was the last day of my Elementary 1 Japanese course. We had our final exams and it was tough! Around 200 items all in all and it tested the student’s ability in Kanji, Reading, Listening and Grammar. Kopiko Brown Coffee
I like Kopiko’s Brown Coffee. It tastes different from your regular “A4” instant coffee, it’s sweeter (brown sugar) and a lot creamier. Normally I’d use about a cup of hot water for my coffee, but with this, I add a bit more to balance things out. Try it (if you haven’t already), it’s pretty good.

Arm Numbness

Kitten potty training
Ponkan has yet to become a master of potty training so I made a small litter box out of an old Gundam box and cat litter. After eating I always make her scratch the cat litter so she’ll understand (hopefully) that it is meant to be pooped on. So far she has made one successful poop inside the litter box, she even covered it up with the cat litter.. Awesome!

Japanese class
I had my first formal Japanese lesson last Saturday. As expected, it was challenging but surprisingly fun, the 3+ hours of class went by so fast. We are currently into Hiragana and basic sentence construction, almost 50 characters all in all. After that comes Katakana and Kanji. Cool! It has been a while since I had a good bodyweight workout. Today I did the Crazy 8 Bodyweight Circuit from the TT Youtube page. This should be 300 reps per set but mine’s only 280(?).
60 Jumping Jacks 20 Spiderman Pushups 20 Walking Lunges 20 Spiderman Climbs 45 sec Wall Squats 60 sec Planks 5 Burpees 50 High Knees
